This project was part of a university project called Change, where I chose a cause that was important to me and I felt I could make a different. The task was to create a compelling and impactful campaign which had a strong call to action at its heart. Check Your... is a public health campaign designed to encourage people to make time to check themselves, and become familiar with their bodies and what is normal for them. Inspired by personal experiences, I wanted to push the message that early detection of cancers and early intervention can save lives.
I chose to use a tone of voice that felt more like an encouraging friend, as oppose to a formal public health campaign. The decision to use coloquial terms such as ‘tits’ and ‘balls’.
